Start with DIY guidance and upgrade to full representation later if your situation becomes more complex.
Many Tax Aid Plus clients choose to upgrade to full-service representation after seeing their transcript analysis and realizing their case needs more comprehensive support. Maybe your situation is more complex than you initially thought. Maybe you’re uncomfortable negotiating with the IRS after your first phone call. Maybe your financial situation changed and you need to revise your resolution strategy.
Whatever the reason, we’re here. If you decide you want us to handle all IRS communications and negotiations, you can upgrade to full representation at any time. We’ll file Form 2848 (Power of Attorney) with the IRS, take over all contact with the IRS, prepare all required forms, and negotiate your resolution from start to finish.
If you upgrade within 30 days of your Tax Aid Plus consultation, we’ll credit your $499 toward our full-service fee. This means your Tax Aid Plus investment becomes the first step in your full representation—we already have your transcripts, understand your situation, and have an existing attorney-client relationship. You’re not starting over or paying twice for the same work.
Even if you upgrade after 30 days, we’ll work with you on pricing because we already have the foundation of your case. The transition is seamless—you’re never locked into the DIY approach if it’s not working for you. You stay in control of how much support you need and when you need it.
